Joelle Hall

Joelle Hall is the Alaska AFL-CIO's Director of Operations. Formerly our contract political director, Joelle joined our staff full time in January 2010. She has a long resume of political experience from running extensive issue campaigns to heading up the efforts of the AFL-CIO labor campaigns the past two election cycles. A graduate of the University of Alaska Fairbanks, Joelle also served in the U.S. Army.

Megan Collie

Megan has been on staff with the Alaska AFL-CIO for eleven years. Megan has served as secretary/receptionist, bookkeeper, events coordinator, and has moved into the role of Communications Director along with her other myriad duties. Among Megan's recent efforts has been starting up the "Futures" group for young union members (under 35). This group kicked off with a wildly successful inaugural event with our first annual young union member's Texas Hold'em Tournament.

Vince Beltrami

 

Vince Beltrami is President of the Alaska AFL-CIO, Originally elected to a four-year term in August 2006, he was re-elected to another four-year term in August of 2010. Beltrami previously was Executive Director of the NECA-IBEW Electrical Apprenticeship program, and served as a Business Representative for IBEW Local 1547 for seven years. He is a journeyman wireman by trade and holds a bachelor's degree in journalism and public communications from the University of Alaska Anchorage
