Union Sportsmen's Shoot
For the first time ever, but certainly not the last, the Union Sportsman's Alliance came to Alaska for two clay shoots.
The first event was held in Juneau on June 22nd and hosted about 35 shooters. While the day was anything but sunny and warm, that didn’t stop Tammy Kramer, Dennis Geary, and Jennifer Madsen from cleaning up the course with their excellent shooting. After the wet day on the course, Masters, Mates & Pilots member Ron Bressette filled the shooters up with delicious food, and everyone is ready to do it again next year.
Then the Union Sportsman’s team headed north to Wasilla for a competition on June 26th. The weather wasn’t much better than it was in Juneau, but it wasn’t all that bad either. Over 65 people joined the shoot and have big plans for next year.
The Union Sportsman’s Alliance may be new to you, and hopefully you’ll be interested in joining their group. The alliance is for union members who have an interest in hunting, fishing and the outdoors. For more information, please go to http://www.unionsportsmen.org/
